Shakira

Shakira is a German Shepherd that we bought from the back of somebody's truck on an empty parking lot near the Walmart in Cookeville.  She was part of a litter that was being sold off by a family we didn't even know!  We all fell in love with the dog at first sight - and she reminds me of dogs that I grew up with in New Jersey so it was an easy sell.  She has now grown to much larger proportions but still thinks she is a puppy, runs madly about the house and is always glad to see us, hoping to get something more to eat.  She has become Stephen's dog, and he was the one to pick the unusual name.
