Chipatsua

On August 15, 2008, Shikira had four live puppies; we kept Chipatsua who was the only female.  The three other males were given away; one to Stephen's English teacher at the local high school, and the other two to workers at the local hospital.  Chipatsua has become one of the family very quickly and after only a few months now weighs over fifty pounds and is very active, frequently annoying her now more sedate mother.  It is agreed that Chip mostly is hated by the other older dogs who do not enjoy being bitten, cajoled, and otherwise tortured by their more active puppy.  While not entirely housebroken yet, she is very much a part of the family now.
